Winners: Present and Future

Dr. Biggles, that crazy yet loveable meat loving blogger from Meathenge.com announced the winners of his Meat Platter Contest yesterday. I have to say I was quite surprised by the choice for the first place winner, I thought all the entries were quite good and I think everyone did a great job. Congratulations not just to the winners but to all who entered the contest.

The lovely Jennifer from the excellent blog The Domestic Goddess, (which also just so happens to be my pick for website of the week THIS week!) announced yesterday that she too will be hosting a contest. I also wanted to note that Jennifer is the person who came up with the concept behind the food blog meme known as Sugar High Fridays , a similar blogging event to that of Alberto's highly popular Is My Blog Burning meme. I haven't been able to participate in the latest IMBB's or any of the SHF's since having this baby, but I highly recommend them to anyone interested in food and cooking, you don't have to have a blog to be a part of it.
